Splatterware Olive Dish

Olive it and more.

Whether you’re entertaining for twenty or two, olives are one of the easiest, greatest snacks to start off the meal. Pop open the jar, drain from brine, and serve. (Preferably alongside a Negroni, but that’s another story.) Essential to serving olives is a place to gather pits, and this little dish does just the job. And it doesn’t end there: use this double bowl dish to hold an endless variety of other snacks, from pistachios, cherries, and dips.

Known as “schizzato” in Italy, splatterware comes from humble origins. This centuries-old technique was used to easily add a splash of color to everyday earthenware which was otherwise unadorned. Adriatico is our first custom colorway in collaboration with IVO Angel and artisan Giulio Lucarini, featuring duo-tone mare and celeste blues, a combination of where the Adriatic sea and sky meet.

Perfection!

I love my little olive dishes, or pistachio dishes, or candy dishes... They are beautiful and versatile. Thank you.

Olive it!

All bad puns aside - this dish is such a perfect little addition to my kitchen arsenal. Currently loving it for cherries + pits for summer snacking, or buttery Castelvetranos for aperitivo hour. And the color - divine!
