Beechwood and stainless steel
Wash the stainless steel end by hand with a clean sponge or damp rag, with either light detergent or some lemon juice, baking soda, and water. Wipe down the wooden handle with damp rag to remove any excess flour or dough. Note: do not run through dishwasher, and allow to dry naturally in a cool, ventilated place.
Tagliapasta was founded by a brother and sister who grew up near Bologna, where fresh pasta like tortellini, tagliatelle, and more are still made by hand. In the same way that they learned how to make la pasta fresca from their mother and nonna, the founders hope that their Italian-made pasta tools help carry on the rituals that they have come to know and love so well.
